Ocean Encounters would like to invite you to attend the PADI Instructor Development Course on the
5-15th of May 2009 in Curaçao.
Ocean Encounters IDC offers everything you'd expect from a 5 Star IDC Center.
Why Ocean Encounters?
For starters, Ocean Encounters is a family run operation. The owner/General Manager is also the Course
Director. Christian Ambrosi not only knows how to train instructors, he also knows how to run an award
winning, successful dive operation.
If you want to learn to be an employable EFR Instructor, O2 Oxygen Provider, MSDT Instructor and
understand what it is like to work in a successful dive operation, Ocean Encounters is the right choice
for you
The Dive industry is competitive. Ocean Encounters receives about 10 Job Applications and resumes a day!
We only consider newly certified instructors with minimal experience in large professional dive
operations. This is common practice among the most professional dive operators in the world.
Why? New instructors have standards and quality fresh on their minds. Large operations give new
instructors great exposure to real-life working conditions.
Still not convinced?
Curaçao is a great place to learn, but maybe it's not the place you want to work? We have a job
placement program with operations from around the world including Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, the ABC
Islands, Jamaica, Cayman, Bahamas, Australia, Indonesia, Hawaii, Honduras, to name a few.
And what if you want a job with us? What better way to ascertain yourself than 10 days with a Course
Director in an IDC! What better way to prepare yourself for that job than continuing with an MSDT
Internship.
Our IDCs don't end with an IE. We take it to the next level with MSDT Internships. The MSDT Internship
is a Three Level program. The first level of the program is the MSDT Prep Course. This is a 2-day
program where you'll earn Instructor Ratings in Nitrox, Deep, Night, Wreck, and Fish ID. The second
level consists of assisting and teaching all levels of PADI courses under the guidance of a mentor. You
will get the experience and certifications that you need to start your career as an MSDT from day one!
The third level of the program is boat skills and experience training. You will have the opportunity to
train on our boats and prepare yourself to life on the water leading certified divers.
Best of all: Levels 2 and 3 won't cost you anything!
On top of quality instruction, quality experience, and some quality fun we offer competitive pricing to
make your dream job an affordable prospect.
Considering the economic climate of the world right now, what better way to stay sane than by living in
the tropics and teaching diving!
And how about free diving before during and after the IDC from one of our boats?
Ocean Encounters is the premier PADI 5 Star IDC dive Center in Curaçao. We are a family owned and
operated company with seven dive boats and five locations throughout Curaçao. You are ensured a quality
IDC with Staff experienced in Dive Center Operations..
