I just returned from a week on Curacao. I've gone every year since 2003. Each time I return there its like coming home. The staff and owners are just like family. This year I completed my Advanced Open Water Certification, the Instructor was excellent. The dive locations are becoming better with time. I will see you again, I just wish it was for longer and more often.

My husband and I just returned from a WONDERFUL vacation in Curacao. We stayed at Breezes resort. We had a very difficult time deciding whether we enjoyed the shore diving, which was spectacular, or all of the great diving sites we were taken to. We were treated with such hospitality throughout our stay. All the staff interated with us on a first name basis. They were professional and very friendly. Curacao has some of the best reef systems that we've had the pleasure diving and we were so happy with Ocean Encounters that I'm going to find a way to credit them for that as well! The boats were well equipped, spacious, very clean and always had COLD water and juice. We had a chance to watch an interaction between a staff member and a shore diver that had not behaved safely. The staff member handled the situation with a firm hand and would accept no excuses as to the breach in safety yet allowed the diver to maintain some dignity during an embarassing moment. This had to be the icing on our cake and will certainly be the deciding factor that we WILL dive with Ocean Encounters again. What more could you ask for? SAFTEY, HOSPITALITY and an all around FUN time! Thanks!

Second time I've had the luck to spend some days diving with Ocean Encounters. Since 2002 little has changed, excellent crew, brand new equipment and dving at its best..The dive with the tarpons/ sharks was very very very nice...thanks Fenna for spotting them!

It my take an other 7 years but I'll be back!

I had the opportunity to dive with Ocean Encounters during a recent cruise. Our dive guide, Karen Maihe, was tremendous and showed our little group of divers a terrific time. A few of us were a little surprised we were doing a shore dive, but surprise! the diving was fantastic. I am hoping to come back when I can spend more time diving and enjoying everything the resort has to offer.

We had a great time working with both Adrian and Shawn completing our certification. The crew on all dives was helpful and we would highly recommend the dive shop at Lions Dive. The boat trips were short and sweet. The dives were fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

Our local dive club went to Curacao this Febuary 2010. We had a fabulous trip! Ocean Encounters team members are every bit professional as they are fun to be around! The diving was incredible and the weather was perfect! We are impressed with the level of safety and training that the team had and how nothing was too much to ask!
We will be organizing another trip to Curacao with Ocean Encounters in the near future!

I just wanted to drop a note to say how much I enjoyed my short time with you all. Next time I will bring the wife and we will try to stay longer. Thanks to all the crew, I would mention names but you were all terrific, and I do not want to leave anyone out by accident. Just a brief note to state how impressed I was with the Ocean Encounters operation at Breezes Curacao where I enjoyed diving through the week of February 8 to 13, 2010. The boats and equipment were in excellent condition and the dive team were good natured, capable and most helpful. I enjoyed the variety of dive sites visited and the pace set by the dive masters, allowing the divers to view the marine life and coral.

Just got home after spending 8 days diving with OE and OE West. Diving in Curacao is unique and so is the staff. Christian runs a tight ship and has assembled a fantastic staff. It was great fun diving with every one of the divemasters. Brian at OE West has assembled an Awesome Staff and it shows. I hope to visit soon and dive with you all again. Deborah, you better be there when I come back, it just wouldn't be the same without you. If any of you get to California, give me a call and we'll do some COLD water diving.

Famtrip Vectra Travel Brasil!

Incredible from the beggining to the end of the trip. It was our best vacation ever. The island, the beaches,the ocean, snorkeling and diving; but best of all, the people at OE. Thank you all for your kindness. We´ll be back.

I arrived in Curacao after my original resort/dive shop had closed unexpectedly and my dive gear had been stolen on my way to Curacao. The staff at OE went out of their way to make sure my trip went well once I arrived. The diving was great and the service exemplary. I would not hesitate to book with OE again when I return to Curacao.

Randy and I stayed at Breezes and dove 13 times during our 7-day stay. It was amazing! Elric was very helpful at the dive shop, Carlos was an excellent Captain and ALL of our Dive Masters were fantastic! (Marika, Andrew, Remy and Kees) We really felt like we were able to see most of the best sites of Curacao!

Day 1 - Gus's Reef and the Tugboat
Day 2 - Shipwreck Point Dolphin Dive and Director's Bay
Day 3 - Barracuda Point, Sandy's Plateau, and Tugboat Night Dive
Day 4 - Klein Curacao (two dives)
Day 5 - Mushroom Forest and Porto Maria
Day 6 - Superior Producer and Cornelius Bay

Thanks for a fun and exciting week. Dad and Edward went diving every day while James and I were certified. Lynne and Chantal were excellent teachers and we saw lots of interesting sea creatures.Edward said he wished he had waited and done his certification here instead of in the States. The end of the week celebration with Nolo, Chris and everyone's family was a great way to end the week.
As new divers (11 and 12 years old), we look forward to many years of diving and hope to see you soon!

I did 7 (1 welcome shore and 3-2 tank boat)dives during a 5 day stay as a single diver. My arrangements were set up perfectly and all the dives were fantastic in terms of service, sites, and attitude toward safety (which I particularly appreciated with my usual dive buddy back in Texas). One tip--the bottom time on the Superior Producer is limited to around 20 minutes due to depth. I spent too much time looking at the hull and ran out of time for the stern and wheelhouse. In retrospect I would have looked at one side the the hull, gone up the wheelhouse on the stern and then to the bow. Good news--I still have plenty to look at when I go back!
