Special Trips
A unique diving experience provided exclusively in Curaçao by Ocean Encounters Diving and Dolphin Academy. After a short dive briefing and dolphin interaction briefing you'll gear up and take a short boat trip to shipwreck point.
After entering the water and starting your dive you will be met by the trainer and the dolphin(s). Be prepared to smile the entire dive! If you behave yourself underwater you will even get close enough to pet the dolphins. Bring your camera they love attention!
Dive time is roughly 45-50 minutes dolphin time varies around 20-30 minutes.

Mushroom Forest
This dive site has been rated as one of the Caribbean Best Dives by Sport Diver Magazine. The Majestic Star and Boulder coral rise up to form mushroom shaped domes full of underwater life.
The dive boat leaves at 8:30 from our Lions Dive facility and arrives at Mushroom Forest dive site about mid-morning. After entering the water, you dive around large boulder coral formations, where critters hide under the ledge. Don't forget to look into the blue to see the schools of bar jacks and yellow tails!
During the surface interval you can snorkel into the Blue Room cavern. While sailing to the next dive site, a light lunch will be served on board. The second dive will be at the beautiful outside reef of Porto Mari.

Adventure Dive Trip to Klein Curaçao and East Point
Every Tuesday Ocean Encounters offers an adventurous 2-tank Dive Trip to Klein Curacao and East Point.
East Point is the first dive site, an unspoiled, lush, and pristine spot, where turtles, rays, large fish, sharks and so much more can be seen.
During surface interval, the boat will cross over to Klein Curaçao for the second dive. A light lunch is served on board with enough time to take pictures of Klein Curacao before returning to Ocean Encounters.
