Curacao Snorkelling Sites
Along with our diving programs we offer snorkelling to those who like to see the underwater wonders from the surface. All our snorkelling trips are made on one of our comfortable custom dive boats.
Our snorkel trips take place in the afternoons and are combined with 1-tank boat diving, perfect for groups or families who have divers and non-divers. You may bring your own snorkelling equipment or rent it from Ocean Encounters at any of our facilities.
Daily afternoon trips
Our daily afternoon trip visits the following two locations on a rotating basis:
This famous tugboat wrecked just a few yards offshore in a protected bay. he tugboat is overgrown with tube sponges and coral and is home to a variety of colorful reef fish. Majestic blue Parrot Fish and Yellow Tail Snappers guard the dive site.
This dive site's landmark is an old decaying shark fence that is now covered in corals and sponges. This location is home to most amazing underwater creatures, including sea horses, frogfish, eels, flounders and many more. A large octopus calls the rubble his home as well. Director's Bay is a great location for macro photography.
