Instructor Development Course
Ocean Encounters Diving is the Premier 5-Star PADI IDC Center on the Caribbean Island of Curacao. The Managing Director – Christian Ambrosi - is also the Course Director and knows how to train instructors.  He also knows how to run an award-winning, successful dive operation. Ocean Encounters Diving receives about 10 Instructor and Divemaster Job Applications and resumes a day!

Ocean Encounters Diving only considers newly certified instructors with minimal experience in large professional dive operations. This is common practice among the most professional dive operators in the world.

Course Director Profile: Christian Ambrosi 181051
Christian has been actively diving since 1991 when he was certified through advanced while living in Jakarta Indonesia. In 1996 he became an Assistant Instructor while in college. Shortly after graduating he moved to Curaçao and in 2002 he became an Instructor. Christian has over 5000 dives all over the world, including technical and his favorite, cave diving. Christian’s experience also extends to the management of an award winning, multi-facility dive operation. Beyond teaching and managing Christian is also well versed in compressor/fill system installation and design and he loves to sail.
